Art Skills for Teachers
Calling all Teachers! Do you feel out of your depth teaching art and design? Do you lack confidence in your own art skills? Do you dread planning Art lessons? Well then this event may be for you!
On Wednesday 29th April 2026, Usher Gallery is running a FREE all day CPD event for teachers to help raise confidence and skills in teaching Art. At the event you will have the opportunity to attend two workshops, learn about how our Creatives Arts Loan Kits can support your school’s Art education delivery and have your say in how we develop our Creative Arts school provision.
Pick two of the following workshops to attend:
Minimal Mess art – Materials and techniques to raise creativity but not your stress levels!
Clay skills – Learn hand building and markmaking techniques
Drawing – All the basics, and more, of drawing.
Collage – Inspire and grow from a collage leaping off point!
