"This game will use a simple system inspired by Dungeons & Dragons that allows players of all ages and experience levels to create a unique character to roleplay as, solve puzzles, battle monsters and forge a unique story over the course of the session. All materials will be provided but feel free to plan some ideas for your character such as their name, appearance and any skills or abilities you'd like them to have."

Booked spaces – 8 Maximum.

There are two sessions. The first will run from 16:00-18:00 and the second from 18:00 to 20:00. You are welcome to take breaks as your require them.

Please note that members of the public might be watching the second session as it takes place during the opening event. 

In this workshop you will be using paper, pens, dice and plastic miniatures (all provided).

You will take on the role of an adventurer of your own creation, working as a group to navigate an adapting story, incorporating elements of roleplay, gaming and descriptive narration.

These sessions are beginner friendly and suitable for ages 8 and above, though be advised there will be themes of violence against monsters, danger and conflict. Under 16’s must be accompanied by an Adult.

You may find this workshop tricky if you have difficulties with  reading or writing, however help will be available wherever needed.
