Gelliprinting For Adults

Join the learning team in this Paolozzi inspired Gelliprinting workshop.

 

 You’ll learn how to use materials and techniques on gelliplates to create your own Pop Art style artwork.

 

This workshop is open to Adults only.

 

What to expect:

 

This workshop is taking place in the Clore Learning room at the Usher Gallery. The Clore learning room is accessible by the entrance of the Usher. To find the Clore learning room, enter the Usher gallery by the glass extension entrance and go to the main door on the left. There are ramps and wide doors to accommodate wheelchairs, and a disabled access toilet oppositive the Clore learning room door, behind the reception desk.

This session will run from 1pm till 3pm

In this event you will be invited to create a monoprint using charcoal tracing techniques, magazine transfer techniques and acrylic paint on rollers and paintbrushes on a Gelliplate.

This workshop is aimed at Adults.

This may be challenging if you have difficulty with hand dexterity but our instructor Rachel will be there to lend a hand. The space may be noisy with other children and adults in the space, if you struggle with loud noises we have noise cancelling head phones and fidget toys available.
